If you find your cat in the listings you can use the website form on his profile to send a message to the person who found your cat. If you do not find your cat in the listings you can register your lost cat so that he shows up in the Lost Cats listings, and so that you can receive email updates when similar found cats are added to the website.

You have a safe cat - You can pre-register your safe cat to aid in his return should he ever get lost. In a time of panic you may not think to register your cat as lost right away on Tabby Tracker. Your cat's "safe" listing will appear at the bottom of the matches shown to finders when they register a found cat in your area. Your listing will be marked as "presumably safe" so that finders only contact you if they have a hunch that they found the cat that you thought was safe - or simply hadn't marked as "lost."
